This project stands as a front runner, the first within the new urban precinct of Tatu City, located on the northern periphery of Nairobi. The development features two office towers that straddle a publicly accessible retail podium raised above two levels of basement parking. The larger tower serves as the headquarters for CCI Kenya, while the second tower are sectionally let.

Spanning an entire urban block, the harmony between the city and structure was vital to the scheme’s success. The raised podium, conceived as a dynamic form crafted from natural stone, features stairways that slice through angular planters, providing seamless public access to the retail spaces from street level. Meticulous attention was paid to these urban interfaces and access points throughout the full length of the podium to moderate the height against the pavement and provide deliberate, natural passageways to the elevated podium above.

Given the equatorial setting, each tower is designed with a stepped facade on its northern and southern aspects, gradually ascending to encourage self-shading and maximize floor plates at elevated levels. Angular finned screens grace the East and West facades, elegantly moderating solar exposure with a colour palette that shifts from light to dark earthy greys, blending aesthetic appeal with functional efficiency.
